Submission of Certificate of Analysis for Absence of Maleic Acid

In accordance with FDA Public Advisory 2013-013 dated 06 June 2013 on the ban on food products contaminated with maleic acid which is not approved food additive, all importers and manufacturers of starch-based food products such as starch powder, pearls and noodles are hereby required to submit Certificate of Analysis to confirm the absence of maleic acid on or before 31 July 2013.
