The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), through the Center for Cosmetics and Household/Urban Hazardous Substances Regulation and Research (CCHUHSRR), aimed to establish the guidelines for the licensing and inspection of establishments or operators for non-agricultural pest control. Thus, the issuance of FDA Circular No. 2022-010, entitled “Implementing Guidelines of Department of Health (DOH) Administrative Order (AO) No. 2019-0010 on the issuance of License to Operate as Household/Urban Pest Control Operators, and for Other Purposes”.

The FDA invites all concerned stakeholders to participate in the virtual cascading as this will be covering the salient features of the said issuance, system launching of the FDA application system, and pilot implementation.

                  Participants Only one hundred (100) participants and on a first-come, first-served basis.

To ensure that all stakeholders are given equal opportunities to attend the virtual cascading, only one (1) representative per company/industry association shall be allowed to register.

The deadline for registration is on 23 January 2023, 5:00PM.

Please be informed that the first six (6) months of the transitory period of the issuance shall serve as the pilot implementation for the National Capital Region (NCR). The covered area or region for the said pilot implementation was based on the survey conducted from 6 October to 7 November 2022.

Furthermore, please be reminded that during the 2-years transitory period, securing an LTO is voluntary.
