In the interest of service, the Center for Cosmetics and Household/Urban Hazardous Substances Regulation and Research (CCHUHSRR), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), has regularly conducted onsite and virtual sessions of the “Hands-on Workshop with the HUHS Industry” beginning July 2022. These sessions have been organized in order for the CCHUHSRR to assist and guide the HUHS Industry as they work on complying with the reinstated registration requirements for HUHS products currently in the market and those intended to be placed in the market. As such, these sessions have been attended primarily by product and product formulation owners (i.e. FDA-licensed HUHS Manufacturers, Traders and Distributor/Importers) of covered HUHS products, as these establishments are expected to have full information relative to product safety, efficacy and quality.

After due deliberation, taking into consideration the decreasing number of participants who joined the last few sessions and the approaching end of CY 2022, the Center has determined that it shall now conduct its last virtual session of the “Hands-on Workshop with the HUHS Industry” on 25 November 2022, 8:00AM to 12:00NN, via MS Teams Platform.

All HUHS Manufacturers, Traders and Distributor/Importers are encouraged to participate. Registration shall be on a first-come, first serve basis through the link: https://forms.office.com/r/MTFsBgFXnA and shall be open until 18 November 2022. A confirmation email with the meeting link to the aforementioned activity shall be sent to the email provided in the registration. To maximize the last session, the Center shall strictly implement a one (1) representative per establishment policy and shall prioritize companies who have not attended previous sessions. Participants who have received the meeting link are advised not to share them with other unregistered individuals as the latter shall not be allowed to enter the virtual training room.

For any concerns or inquiries, kindly contact CCHUHSRR at (02) 8857-1900 local 8107 or 8113, or through email at [email protected] .
