Since the implementation of Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ), the Food and Drug Administration is continuously adopting measures to facilitate your transactions with us.

This Office would like to reiterate some points on our temporary measures:

  1. Scanning of Authorizations and sending thru the authorized email address of the company.

One of the purposes of the ECQ is to restrict movement of people to limit transfer of COVID-19 virus from one person to another, thus, staying at home is a measure that is being required to most of us. However, it was noticed that some Clients are requesting for scanned copy of the Authorizations and come to FDA Central the following day/s to pick-up the original copy, which defeats the purpose of scanning the documents during the ECQ period and for pick-up later after its lifting.

With this development, FDA will no longer scan and email the Authorizations, except upon receipt of official request from the concerned establishment. If Clients can come to FDA Central Office to secure their authorizations, there is no need to request for scanned copy, just visit our Office and pick-up the Authorizations.

  1. Payment thru Fund Transfer to FDA LBP Account

Payment of applicable fees and charges thru fund transfer to our LBP Bank Account No. 0392-1030-58 is for online transactions only. After a successful fund transfer, submission of proof of payment shall be emailed to Cashier to facilitate posting.

In case the Client can come personally to LBP branches, Client shall use the On-Coll Payment Slip, not the Cash Deposit Slip. Client shall indicate in the On-Coll payment slip, among others, the FDA Clearing Account and its corresponding bank account number and the “Case Number” (Reference 2) being paid, which are the basis of LBP’ s report to FDA.

It is our desire to serve with efficiency and utmost concern for your safety.

Thank you.
