The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) informs all veterinary establishments that letter of clearance/certification and/or import/phytosanitary (SPS) permit is not required for the release of imported finished veterinary drugs and products as long as they have a valid License to Operate (LTO) and Certificate of Product Registration (CPR). However, for raw materials used for manufacturing, only the valid LTO issued by FDA shall be presented at the Bureau of Customs (BOC) for immediate release.
All establishments and products with FDA authorization can be verified at the FDA verification portal (https://verification.fda.gov.ph/Home.php).
