As part of the pilot implementation of Department of Health (DOH) Administrative Order (AO) No. 2019-0010, entitled, “Guidelines on the Regulation of Operators of Pest Control, Certification of Pesticide Handlers, and Accreditation of Their Training Providers”, and its implementing guidelines under FDA Circular No. 2022-010, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), through the Center for Cosmetics and Household/Urban Hazardous Substances Regulation and Research (CCHUHSRR), held a virtual cascading activity for Pest Control Operator (PCO) establishments on 26 January 2023. During the said activity, the said Guidelines and the step-by-step procedure for the submission of applications for the License to Operate (LTO) were presented to the participants.
