FDA Advisory No.2023-2155 || Voluntary Recall of Alaska Classic Evaporated Filled Milk 370mL with Batch Code 16APRL2024 P1

The public is hereby advised by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regarding the voluntary recall of Alaska Milk Corporation of Alaska Classic Evaporated Filled Milk 370mL with Batch Code: 16APRL2024 P1.

Alaska Milk Corporation, market authorization holder (MAH) of the subject product notified the FDA that they have received complaints from consumers regarding the coagulation of the affected batch. Results of investigation by the MAH shows that the coagulation was caused by compromised packaging integrity of the cans.

Although Alaska Milk Corporation has not received any adverse event reports for this incident, the company has decided to proceed with caution and voluntarily recall the product from the market. This recall applies only to the subject product with Batch Code 16APRL2024 P1.

Consumers who may have purchased the subject product are advised to contact Alaska Milk Corporation at +63286381122 or email [email protected] for guidance on return and refund, and for any question or additional information regarding the recall.

All Local Government Units (LGUs) and Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) are likewise requested to monitor and ensure that the said products will no longer be sold or made available in the market, after the issuance of this advisory and conclusion of the recall, in their localities or areas of jurisdiction.
