FDA Circular No.2021-024 || Rescission of the FDA Circular No. 2014-017, Subject: “Procedure in the Submission and Issuance of the Food and Drug Administration Certification for Animal Feeds and Feed Products”

Pursuant  to the Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 100-2021 of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) dated 06 September 2021 with Subject: “Amending RMC Nos. 55-2014, 66-2014 and 78-2014 to transfer the requirement for certification from Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI)”, the issuance of the required certification for livestock or poultry feeds or ingredients used in manufacture of finished animal feeds unfit for human consumption is transferred from FDA to the BAI.

In view of the foregoing, the FDA Circular No. 2014-017 is hereby rescinded effective immediately.
