On the second day of the country’s biggest international trade event for food, the 16th IFEX Philippines at the World Trade Center, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has once again provided technical support as its Event Partner through IFEX Talks & Seminars. Local manufacturers and potential exporters were guided by FDA Subject Matter Experts on the requirements and processes of securing pre-market authorizations such as License To Operate (LTO) and Certificate of Product Registration (CPR). Regulations on Food Export Certificate and Commodity Clearance as well as Guidelines on the GACC Registration were also discussed to enlighten local food manufacturers on export requirements and procedures.

This year’s edition themed, “Sharing the Love of Filipino Flavors”, aims to showcase over 500 Philippine and global exporters’ premium quality food and ingredients to 8,000 buyers and visitors all over the world through the physical trade show, business matching, seminars, and special events complemented by IFEX’ digital platform, www.ifexconnect.com.
