Food and Drug Administration Director General (DG) Dr. Samuel A. Zacate met the Center for Drug Regulation and Research (CDRR) employees for an open forum. The “Arinola Session” was introduced to provide employees an opportunity to express their concerns about the current situation and voluntarily recommend ways to improve the Center’s system, anonymously. This is his way of knowing the real situation on the ground.

One of the highlights is the revision of Administrative Order No. 67, which is said to be the top priority of DG for this semester to streamline the application processes and further strengthen our regulatory functions. Also, to keep up with increasing applications, adequate manpower and an ergonomic workplace will be provided to CDRR.

A day spent having DG’s hour ended up with a blast of joy!
