In compliance with Section 9(B) of Republic Act No. 11032, otherwise known as the “Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018” which states that “In cases where the cause of delay is due to force majeure or natural or man-made disasters, which result to damage or destruction of documents, and/or system failure of the computerized or automatic processing, the prescribed processing times mandated in this Act shall be suspended and appropriate adjustments shall be made”, the FDA shall conduct a system maintenance and modifications to the current processing of applications for FDA Certification (Product Batch Declaration) in the Electronic Portal System V.2 for Vapor Products and Heated Tobacco Products which entails for an application holiday. The modifications shall be composed of updating and debugging of the system to improve and increase ease of application process and evaluation.

The FDA would like to request for the cooperation of all concerned stakeholders during this application holiday in accordance with RA 11032 by postponing their submission of applications for FDA Certification until 15 September 2021. Please be informed that during this period no application for FDA Certification may be filed.

This advisory is issued to give all concerned stakeholders a proper notification of the reason for such actions taken. Your kind understanding on the above matter is highly appreciated.
