The Food and Drug Administration on 25 May 2022 was notified by Sysu International, Inc. of its initiated voluntary recall of JIF Creamy Peanut Butter, JIF Extra Crunchy Peanut Butter and JIF Reduced Fat Peanut Butter due to potential Salmonella contamination, implicating the following respective lot numbers:

 

The recall is being initiated by Sysu International, Inc., the local distributor of the subject  food products after receiving a product recall notice from J.M. Smucker Co., USA, manufacturer of JIF Peanut Butter products. J.M.   Smucker Co. has announced the voluntary recall of   the aforementioned selected JIF products, which were also being sold in the U.S. and Canada, due to potential salmonella contamination.

This product recall applies only to the affected lot numbers of JIF Peanut Butter products.

Consumers or customers who may have any concerns over the subject products may contact JIF Philippines through JIF Philippines Facebook page jif.com/contact-us,  800-828-9980,  Sysu International, Inc. at www.sysuinc.com.ph or 09178362548.

Finally, all Local Government Units (LGUs) and concerned government agencies are requested to monitor the subject food products bearing the aforementioned lot numbers in the market, and ensure that the same will no longer be sold and/or distributed.
