In celebration of National Women’s Month, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) conducted various activities to support women’s rights and promote gender equality.
There were several activities throughout the month that promotes women’s importance to society, such as webinars and awarding of the MOMSHIE MILK Award which was open to all breastfeeding moms, JUANDER WOMAN Award for single or unmarried women, and DarNANAY Award open for all married and single women of FDA.
In addition to these activities, the FDA conducted a gender sensitivity training for its employees to promote a culture of inclusivity and respect for diversity. The training aimed to increase awareness and understanding of gender issues and provide employees with tools to address and prevent gender-based discrimination in the workplace.
