30 APRIL 2024 | PEARLMONT HOTEL, CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) through the FDA Academy, Field Regulatory Operations Office (FROO) Mindanao East Cluster, and the Misamis Oriental Pharmacists Association (MOPA) conducted a Licensing Seminar for Drug Establishments on 30 April 2024 at Pearlmont Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City.
A total of one hundred sixty (160) MOPA members participated in the whole-day training to enhance their regulatory knowledge on the licensing of drug establishments. In line with the directive of FDA Director General Dr. Samuel A. Zacate, this learning activity endeavors to educate stakeholders with up-to-date regulations to enhance awareness and understanding of regulatory requirements and processes.
Subject Matter Experts (SME) from the FDA Academy and FDA Regional Field Office No. X served as resource persons discussing the licensing requirements and application process as well as inspection of drug establishments specifically drug distributors and drug retail outlets.
