The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) informs the public that the following food products have now been registered by the Market Authorization Holder (MAH) RAN’S GENERAL MERCHANDISE in accordance to existing FDA rules and regulations.
1. RAN’S DRIED FISH Dried Lapad
2. RAN’S Dried Fish Danggit Special
3. RAN’S Dried Galunggong
4. RAN’S Dried Pusit Special
5. RANS Dried Fish (Kapak)
Accordingly, the list released in FDA Advisory No. 2021-2493 is hereby updated to remove the aforementioned food products.
The public is advised to always check if a food product or food supplement is registered with the FDA by using the FDA Verification Portal feature accessible at https://verification.fda.gov.ph. You may also look for the FDA Registration number on the product label, if available or simply type the name of the product.

Furthermore, the issuance of this advisory shall not in any manner preclude this Office from issuing subsequent orders it may deem necessary and appropriate, should there be findings of any violation of the company to the existing laws, rules, and regulations.
